Problem Statement
PayThem currently offers integration only with WooCommerce. However, there is a growing need for PayThem to support Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) in order to expand its reach and serve merchants using this platform. The integration between Adobe Commerce and PayThem is complex, involving multiple touchpoints such as payment flow, order management, and automated gift card processing. A custom solution is required to establish a robust and seamless connection between Adobe Commerce and the PayThem system, ensuring compatibility, scalability, and performance across various merchant use cases.
Client Challenges
The client struggled with an outdated server setup, slow performance from excessive plugins, and a poor mobile experience. Additionally, the site lacked sales optimization, limiting its ability to drive conversions and business growth.
- Limited Platform Support: PayThem currently supports only WooCommerce, which restricts its ability to serve merchants using Adobe Commerce (Magento 2).
- Integration Complexity: Adobe Commerce has a more advanced and modular architecture compared to WooCommerce, requiring a sophisticated integration strategy with PayThem's APIs.
- Custom Workflow Requirements: The client requires a tailored payment and order flow that aligns with Adobe Commerce’s ecosystem while maintaining PayThem’s core functionality.
- Marketplace Compliance: The integration must meet Adobe Commerce Marketplace standards, including documentation, security, and version compatibility.
- Version Compatibility: Ensuring the module remains compatible with the latest versions of Adobe Commerce adds ongoing maintenance and testing overhead.
- Customer Support Readiness: The integration must be robust and well-documented to minimize support tickets and ensure smooth issue resolution for end merchants.
