Problem Statement
DeckDirect, after operating on Magento 1 for nearly six years, faced a critical need to upgrade due to the end of support for Magento 1 and growing demands for enhanced performance, integration, and scalability. The challenge was not only to migrate to Magento 2 but also to overhaul the entire digital infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with Netsuite, HubSpot, and custom warehouse systems, while maintaining and enhancing user experience, operational efficiency, and data synchronization across multiple platforms.

Client Challenges
DecksDirect faced key challenges including an outdated Magento 1 platform, unreliable data syncing due to a complex middleware between Magento and NetSuite, and the lack of an efficient system for sales reps to place phone orders. Additionally, limited marketing and lead management capabilities highlighted the need for integrated tools like Klaviyo and HubSpot.
DecksDirect was running on an outdated Magento 1 version, presenting a significant challenge to migrate to Magento 2 due to the high volume of customers, SKUs, and orders. The Evrig team expertly handled this complex migration, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining all our critical data and functionality.
The middle layer between NetSuite and Magento caused multiple issues with data transfer between the systems. One of the challenges to removing this layer and implementing a smoother integration using REST API resolved these issues, ensuring efficient and reliable data exchange between NetSuite and Magento.
With multiple orders coming through daily via phone, DecksDirect needed an easy system for salespeople to place orders on behalf of customers. Implementing a streamlined solution significantly improved efficiency and accuracy, allowing sales staff to quickly and accurately process orders over the phone.
Integrating Klaviyo for advanced email marketing and HubSpot for lead management and data syncing was crucial for effective marketing and sales efforts
The Role of Evrig
Having been on Magento 1 for nearly six years, DeckDirect faced the imperative need for migration due to the end of support for M1 and the demand for additional enhancements on the website. The transition from Magento 1 to Magento 2 presented a significant challenge, given the intricate connections with multiple systems. Our team successfully navigated this complex migration, ensuring the seamless transfer of existing functionalities to an improved version within Magento 2.
Transitioning from the previous Odoo <> Magento <> Netsuite setup, we upgraded to a more streamlined Magento <> Netsuite Integration. The core master data now resides within the Netsuite system, prompting the of a real-time synchronization between Magento and Netsuite.This dynamic integration responds to diverse activities on the website, ensuring a seamless and efficient data flow.
DecksDirect is seamlessly connected with the HubSpot CRM system through API integration. This ensures smooth synchronization of customer information, product details, and quotes (deals) between the two systems, enhancing overall customer relationship management capabilities.
Bridging Magento and Laravel systems through custom APIs, we’ve facilitated seamless communication for the Warehouse team. This integration enables the team to efficiently handle and update the status of daily orders. Additionally, any updates made by the Warehouse team are automatically communicated to both Magento and Netsuite through API connections.
Implemented Hyva theme integration into the Magento website, focusing on performance optimization, a sleek and minimalist design, and SEO-friendly attributes. The seamless integration ensures these enhancements without disrupting any existing functionalities.
Seamless integration of Klaviyo for all email transactions within Magento presented a challenge, especially in the creation of custom templates and their integration with Klaviyo. Despite the complexity, this integration ensures efficient email communication for enhanced marketing strategies.
Introducing a custom sales representative module, we’ve empowered representatives to seamlessly place orders from the front end, catering to both customer needs and their own requirements.Additionally, sales representatives can track their sales journey through a dedicated dashboard.
We’ve personalized the shipping methods to reflect specific delivery timelines—orders placed before 2 PM ensure next-day delivery, while those placed after 2 PM require 2 days for delivery. This cut-off time is adjustable through the admin panel. Additionally, we’ve integrated warehouse capacity data per working day, providing accurate estimations for the next-day or 2-day delivery based on available resources.
Integrations That Power Operations
To make the digital transformation truly holistic, we ensured that IFB’s online operations were deeply connected with their core business systems. This enabled real-time synchronization, operational accuracy, and a seamless user journey from browsing to post-purchase support.

A robust two-way integration with IFB’s ERP ensured live stock updates, order processing automation, and centralized customer data — drastically reducing manual tasks and fulfillment errors.

Customer service workflows — from product registration to service requests — were tightly integrated into the Magento backend, allowing customers to access support effortlessly and track service history.

Integration with tools like Mailchimp allowed IFB to run segmented campaigns, track performance, and automate communication workflows, driving personalized engagement.
